What you'll get

Before you start
- Go to paypal.com > Activity
- Navigate to "Statements & Documents" > Download (for transactions)
- OR go to Settings > Privacy > Data & Privacy > Export data (for GDPR report)
How to download
- For transactions: choose a date range, download CSV
- For full GDPR export: request the report, wait for email
- Download the archive
Pro tip
PayPal's transaction history export goes back up to 7 years — it's one of the most complete financial records you can download.
After the download
- Store transaction CSVs alongside your tax records
- Delete the report from PayPal servers after download
